High Elevation Mix

The High Elevation Nature revegetation seed mixture is comprised of species that can tolerate the adverse growing conditions found at higher elevations. The alpine bluegrass, alpine timothy, slender wheatgrass and northern wheatgrass are considered native to Canada at the higher growing elevations. We have combined these natives with the deep rooting sheep fescue, the sod-forming creeping red fescue and the nitrogen-fixating sainfoin to produce the High Elevation Nature revegetation blend. This seed mixture can be seeded at elevations of 5000 feet or greater.
