Northern Interior Irrigated Mix

Northern Interior Irrigated is designed for irrigated pasture or hay regions of the northern BC Interior. This blend was designed with the Williams Lake, Quesnel and Prince George climates in mind. All components of this blend are winterhardy. Slender wheatgrass is a strong performer in both hay and pasture applications. The combination of timothy and smooth bromegrass help make this blend a high producing hay forage mixture. The creeping, sod-forming characteristics of the creeping red fescue help it to withstand traffic. The red clover will fix nitrogen and thus contribute to self sustainability of the forage stand, resulting in improved quality of the hay or pasture forage.
