The A733 GSM has the same features as the A733 with the added ability to access the weather network via cell phone service. In remote areas where a base station or internet connectivity are not possible or feasible, the A733 GSM can transmit it's data to the base station via cell phone. This unit will act as a transmitter only, and cannot be used as a repeater for other radios. Due to the added power requirements of GSM, it is best to use the 460mA solar panel with this radio. The 300 mA panel is the minimum recommended size. The grower must supply the SIM card from their cell phone service provider for the radio to be activated.
