Blade sharpening stone

This is a three sided sharpening stone which is small enough to fit in your pocket.  The size and shape of the stone allow you to sharpen the entire blade edge in a matter of seconds.  A few strokes along the blade edge every 3-4 hours of use is recommended.  A sharp blade lasts longer, and in the case of electronic pruners, greatly extends the battery life.
