This 400 pound capacity hopper attaches to the frame of the 2550 or 2600 Mulch Layer. It is ground driven for uniform application. The feed rate is set in the gearbox. With the standard auger, this allows for as much as 300 pounds per acre on a 5 foot row spacing. The high flow auger option allows for up to 630 pounds per acre on a 5 foot spacing (based on a fertilizer density of 65 lbs./cubic foot).
