The C-Probe Series II Sensor is a capacitance type sensor for measuring soil moisture. It mounts to the C-Probe assembly / access tube at any level you wish to measure in the soil profile. The sensor is very sensitive to changes in soil moisture. Capacitance probes make it very easy to see where the root activity and soil moisture fluctuations exist in the soil profile. This type of information is essential for sequencing and duration of irrigation activities. Note: we will be shifting over to the Envirosmart style sensor over time. If this is a new installation, please order the new style sensor.
