The Quik Corp fire fighting unit is a high pressure / low volume sytem. It comes complete with 80m of fire resistant hose, remote retractable reel, fill kit, 9hp Honda pump system, and a 600L tank. The unit reloads in about 12 minutes from a water source as shallow as a few inches. The hose rewind is controlled remotely by the operator. This allows for faster redeployment around trees or against fast moving grass fires. The reel rewind is strong enough to assist operators up steep embankments. This greatly increases speed of attack, while decreasing operator fatigue. The high pressure / low volume system is well suited to grass fires and use in interface areas. Although the system is simple to use, it is not recommended to approach any fire suppression activity without proper training. These units are the weapons of choice for fire crews across Australia and selected fire districts in Canada.
