The Flexomant-4W is a tractor mounted ULV (Ultra Low Volume) applicator which mounts to a tractor via 3 point hitch. The glyphosate is metered into the atomizers by a variable rate ground driven pump. The two outer heads are spring loaded and roll around the crop without any damage. The two inner atomizers are housed in an adjustable hood which extends from 28 - 44". The unit holds about 3 gallons of glyphosate and covers from 15 - 30 acres depending on application rate. A 12VDC connection is required to run the atomizers. CAUTION : The ground wheels need to be in constant contact with FIRM soil to operate properly. Loose and / or uneven terrain will cause the machine to not operate properly and possibly damage it. If these conditions exist, it is recommended to consider the Varimant style of machine.
