The Varimant S Plus is a tractor mounted ULV (Ultra Low Volume) applicator which runs on 12VDC. The Varimant uses an adjustable electric pump rather than a ground drive to meter the glyphosate into the atomizer. Some modification is required to mount the machine to the front or back of the tractor. The preferred mounting method is on the front to allow for a clear view of the atomizer heads and still allow for attachment of other equipment to the three point hitch. The outside shield is spring loaded and "rolls" around the stems or trunks of your crop. There are 4 atomizers which cover about 16" each. The glyphosate tanks hold about 3 gallons and cover about 15 - 30 acres. The standard setup extends from 44" to 88", but can be modified easily if needed.
