The 30-10-0+7S blend contains Avail®. Avail® increases phosphorous fertilizer efficiency by creating a 'shield' around phosphorous to block it from binding with cations and becoming unavailable. It is cheaper to use Avail® than to not use it.
This blend was designed to supply nitrogen, phosphorus and sulphur in forage grass stands, hay or pasture. It is generally used as an initial application, followed by subsequent applications of nitrogen alone.
