Most effective on the larger aphid species such as the potato aphid (Macrosiphum euphorbiae) and the Foxglove aphid (Aulacorthum solani). It will also parasitize the tobacco aphid (Myzus persicae var. nicotianae). Parasitized aphid swells and hardens into a leathery, grey or brown coloured mummy. The adult parasite emerges through a round hole at the rear of the mummy.
